Sonia meets PM to discuss reshuffle

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh again met Monday to continue discussions on the proposed cabinet reshuffle expected this week, official sources said.

Gandhi's meeting with the prime minister has come against the backdrop of the party giving a final shape to the long awaited reshuffle, sources said. However, there is no official word on when the reshuffle would take place.

The two leaders had met Sunday for a fourth round of consultations on the issue. The party is also consulting its major allies such as the DMK and the Trinamool Congress over the reshuffle.
