We have completed our signings: Ferguson

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson claims his club has completed their summer transfer spending.

The English champions have splashed out a total of more than 50 million pounds ($81 million) this summer on Blackburn defender Phil Jones, Aston Villa winger Ashley Young and Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David De Gea.

Wesley Sneijder, Samir Nasri and Luka Modric were all linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer but Ferguson says he is not in the market for any more players.

“We are always looking for good quality players,” Ferguson said on Saturday from Chicago, where United played a friendly match as part of their U.S. pre-season tour.

“We started the season with the players we have and I am satisfied with that. We are not looking at the moment but we are looking at combinations of central midfielders now at the club.”
