Trust members stand by ‘Prema Sai’ prediction

April 27: Satya Sai Baba’s devotees are now eagerly awaiting the birth of Prema Sai, who, according to Satya Sai Baba, will be the next Sai avatar. Satya Sai Baba had also said that Prema Sai would be born in Karnataka, eight years after he "leaves" his body.

Asked about the Trust’s response to the Baba’s prediction that his next avatar would be Prema Sai, a trustee said on the condition of anonymity: “We stand by what Baba has predicted.”
On July 6, 1963, during a discourse on Gurupoornima, Baba had made two revelations. First, Baba illustrated his powers by curing himself in front of thousands of people. He was unwell after having suffered a severe stroke eight days ago. Second, Satya Sai Baba talked of his next incarnation Prema Sai. Baba said that he would return as Prema Sai eight years after he leaves his body.
