APril 10: The state Congress leadership has appointed 14 Cabinet ministers as in-charges and campaign coordinators for the Kadapa bypolls and has given them the responsibility to ensure that the Congress candidates win. This is the first time that so many ministers have been appointed as in-charges for a Lok Sabha bypoll. The Chief Minister, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Sunday held a meeting with available ministers and the PCC chief, Mr D. Srinivas, and discussed the bypoll situation and the need to take up the election campaign on a war footing including coordinating with the rank and file of the party in Kadapa district. The finance minister, Mr Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, and the school education minister, Dr S. Sailajanath, have been appointed as in-charges for the Pulivendula Assembly segment, the revenue minister, Mr N.
